Week 1
I am starting to think about questions for interviewing my partners. Some questions I have been asked are: What is your favorite color? What is my favorite food? What is my eye color? What is my height? What is my favorite dessert? What is my favorite ice cream flavor? Are you a dog or cat person? How many pets do you have? What are they? Here is my reflection for the Chapter 1 reading: Society for Technical Communications defines information design as the translating of complex, unorganized or unstructured data into valuable, meaningful information. When one separates the two words Information and design they can begin to understand what the discipline really is. Information is a bunch of data that comes from words, pictures, sounds and anything that a human could translate into meaning while design is a plan. This is interesting to me as I just started my marketing strategy class and the introduction to the book goes into depth on unstructured data and how to make a plan for it ...
